Eventually, the house was ready, and there was half an hour to go til the funeral. Nathan and the children transported to the funeral home, where the first people were beginning to arrive.

I saw the place at the background. I looked seeing people arrive, what was left of our family. I looked down in shame, i shouldn't be here. I should of done more, more to save them, more to keep them alive. Been there, for them. It couldn't be over, not yet, not ever.
