Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
Soon, all had arrived. Dani walked over to Nathan, wordlessly hugging him. She took Hayley from him, leaving Amber with her brother, and the younger Nathan walking between them. They walked into the funeral home, all others following. All eyes fell upon the two coffins in the centre of the room, they drew all attention.

(Unconfirmed.)
Abbie snapped back into attention, staring at the bodies of her aunt and uncle. Tears dribbled from her eyes, and Noah hugged her.

She heard Jack's whispered thoughts, and nodded, in agreement. Errors in time.

Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
(*needs to think of something for Nathan to say*)
Nathan swallowed, the truth seeming more stark and real than ever now. They really truly were gone. Dead, lost forever. And it wasn't right, not at all, nothing was and ever could be ever again.

I was about to leave, but i couldn't. I couldn't leave this burden on Nathan's shoulder. what was a boy without his parents? The answer, was nothing, he needed them, he needed someone. He needed them.

(Not really. )
Abbie eyes focused and unfocused, blocked by the tears.

(Someone nodding isn't weird. Someone walking out when the funeral's barely started, is)
He stared forwards, unable to tear his eyes away from the 2 coffins, his parents resting within them. Tears pricked his eyes, and he tried and failed to blink them away. Dani was crying freely as she squeezed his hand.

Hayley wept silently, quiet because she could sense that no one needed her cries disturbing them. Seeing her sister so, Amber began to weep too, both silent, both mourning the parents they barely knew they'd lost.

Zach's eyes found his younger cousins, and watched, worried.

Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
After the officiant had finished the eulogies, Nathan got to his feet. He wasn't going to speak. There was nothing he could say. Silently, he handed Amber over to Dani, and stepped forwards. He manipulated air to carry the coffins slowly outside to where they'd be interred. The rest of the family followed.

Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
He stopped outside, gently lowering both, his father into the ground, his mother on the earth beside him. He hesitated. It seemed so real....in doing this, he really would be letting them go. Letting them slip away. But they already had, and there was nothing he could do to save them however hard he would try to grasp.

Noah listened to his thoughts, a single tear trailing from his left eye, his right mimicking it.

Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
There was nothing more to do. Helpless, he raised both hands, a fire forming in one and spreading forwards to his mother's coffin, the second moving the earth to bury his father. Letting go. Letting them leave, letting them slip away.

(RP?)
The earth on Peter's grave smoothed and flattened over, and white flowers began to grow on it, Hayley's doing. The same white flowers framed Lowri's pyre as it burned on.

Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
Abbie snaked an arm around Zach, pulling him to her level, all of them deeply moved. She wished.... She wished this had never happened. This fate had never been made. That time had been correct. This just certified her feelings that there was no God. No God would give in like this, and let the good people die.
