Sam arrived home, there were a couple of people running away from a zombie, Sam charged towards the zombie and smashed it's head with his axe, he went to his apartment and opened the door and went straight towards the gun safe and opened it, he pulled out his shotgun and the two bandoliers and a belt of shotgun ammo

Harry got home, he killed a couple of zombies that were outside his apartment with his pistol, he went inside and started to get some supplies together

Jake got home, he got out his desert eagles and holsters, then got a rucksack and put some first-aid kits and food inside it

Panicking slightly, she backed into a corner, and searched around in vain for some sort of weapon. There was none. The zombies chasing her hadn't arrived yet - their slower speed having held them up - but they were coming. She could hear them. They were coming, and she was trapped. A part of her mind knew that any sort of fighting would be in vain, but she just ignored it, falling into as much of a fighting crouch as her pregnancy allowed, the martial arts she'd spent years learning all flashing into her thoughts. She waited for the zombies to arrive.

Slowly, yet surely, they did come. An army of them, it seemed to her, their numbers vastly exaggerated by her fear. She took hold of that fear, coiled it up in the back of her head. It'd only get in her way. She tensed, preparing her limbs and her body to fight to the death.

The zombies shuffled their way over to her slowly, forming a semicircle around her with her back to the wall, trapping her. Slowly, the first one crawled forwards. She tensed, all her attention on him, ready to fight even if fighting'd be impossible. She had to..... she just had to. She was completely unaware of the rest of their surroundings, so the first sign she registered was the gunshot.

Reflexively, she dove into a deeper crouch, trying to dodge the bullet which hadn't even touched her. The nearest zombie's head flew off, it's blood and brain matter smirched against the room's walls. The others turned round to face this new threat, 3 more losing their heads in the process.

Sam hung up the phone and went outside his apartment, there were a couple of zombies wander about and sneaked up on one and killed it with his axe, then the other one turned and lurched towards him, just as Sam was about to kill it, when another zombie grabbed Sam from behind, then there was a gunshot, the zombie holding Sam fell to the ground, then another shot was heard and the zombie in front of Sam fell to the ground, Sam turned around to see Jake holding his desert Eagles

She was frozen by shock by the second, but then that faded, and she took the opportunity to grab a few undead and throw them to the ground, dashing their heads on the concrete. Her helper continued to shoot them whenever he could aim cleanly at a head. Eventually, they'd managed to kill them all off. Then she raised her head, and smiled her gratitude at her brother in law.

He laughed slightly, and stepped over the remains to wipe the gore away from her face using his sleeve. She shuddered a little, but it was due to aftermath.
Come on, we have to get out of here, he encouraged her gently.

Sam stood out on guard, killing the occasional zombie with his axe, then he heard someone running up the stairs, then he saw Harry with his pistol out

She followed him out cautiously, both of them keeping an eye out for more zombies. Daniel spotted some in the distance, but he shot the 3 in the head. Cate continued to follow him. She watched, shocked, as he paused at a nearby car, and proceeded to break into it. He deactivated the alarm, threw their baggage into the boot, and then began hotwiring it.

They drove on for hours, Cate eventually falling asleep with her head against the window. Glancing over at her, Daniel chuckled at that. She looked so sweet and peaceful when she was sleeping. Yet more hours passed, and eventually he drew to a halt, parking outside a small cabin miles out in the wilderness. They'd arrived.

In New Hampshire. Our family have a little holiday cottage here, I brought us there. Thought we could stay here a while. It's in the middle of nowhere, so it ought to be safer.

Lets Barricade the door, then get as much informations as we can, then decide our next move

Jake picked up some boards of wood and some nails he had picked up in another apartment and began securing the door, Sam was chopping up anything wooden, while Harry stayed at the window, shooting down zombies that came to close to the building

She opened her mouth to argue, then realised that he was right. Really, blatantly, obviously right. 7 months pregnant, and she'd frozen earlier, in all honesty. She wouldn't stand a chance right now.

Jake got on the ladder and started to climb down while Harry shot down any nearby zombie with his sniper rifle, when Jake reached the bottom Sam climbed down after him, then Harry, when they were all at the bottom they looked for a direction, they decided to start on the edge of town first
