HomeDanté stepped off of the plane his electric blue eyes glinting in the sun light. He carried his guitar case over his left shoulder as he walked across the pavement. He pulled out the web page he had printed off online. Reports of a Daman near by a school. Oh how he loved his job, he was looking forward to killing the beast, taking it's breath, ridding the world of 1 more Daman.

Danté took his seet on the train laying his guitar case on the seats opposite him. He straightened his long red coat making certain he look badass. He reached into his coat and dipped into his pocket, a small smile appeared on his face as his hands gripped around Ebony and Ivory. He placed his feet on top off his guitar case leant his head back a drifted off to sleep.

Sky had, once again, spent the entire afternoon and evening in one of the private training rooms, locking herself in there. She hadn't noticed as the sun had set and night had fallen, completely focused and lost in her practice. She would be ready... she had to..... she was so lost that she startled when someone knocked on the door.
Raising her head and crossing over to the door, she was shocked to see Nick outside. She opened the door and let him in.
You've been in here all day, Sky, he protested. You haven't rested at all.... you have to be falling apart.

Danté looked at the school. He shivered. Something about this school was creeping him out. The Daman was dead now. It had been pretty easy. It was terrorizing young children and there mothers in a park. Danté had made shore to to kill it as far away from the children as possible. It had been out of shape. It had tried to fight back but didn't stand a chance. Anyway that was done with now. 1 less Daman in the world. His agent had told him things were still quiet back at DMC. So Danté stayed he sat cross legged near the school and watched.

I know you care about him, and you're worried about him. But you won't be able to save him - or any of the rest - if you drive yourself so hard. Come on. Give yourself a break.
She shrugged mechanically. In truth, she'd been driving herself like this because when she was working so hard she couldn't worry about what could be happening to them, or what could go wrong on the raid, or her grandmother's cryptic warning. But she didn't feel like attempting to explain all of that.

Because of that - and because she could taste Nick's worry over her, and she disliked it - she eventually let him persuade her to stop, give up for the day. Just for the day, she told herself. She'd be back here tomorrow. And when the time came, she would be ready.

Sky wandered out into the grounds, Nick following her as always. She shuddered as she walked past the burned and broken remnants of the battle, but soon she'd left them behind. The area she was in now was peaceful, with a few scattered trees. There were enough people nearby to feed her, but they weren't close enough to be an interruption.

I've been thinking about this Guardian thing, she began slowly. What exactly are it's limits?
Nick shrugged. He pointed out that there was no way he could possibly know the answer.
True.... but say, if I was in any danger, would you know immediately? Would you feel like you were in danger yourself, or even be hurt too?
I'm not sure.... I mean, I know how I've felt when you were threatened before... but I thought that was just from how I felt for you...
How? she asked, ignoring the comment about his feelings for her, as she always did.
Like the purpose for my life could end, he answered frankly.

She started at that, her eyes opening wide in horror. He meant it completely sincerely. She could tell that. His emotions made it plain. So strong..... so frightening. She tried to push it away, tried to tell herself it could be a good thing, like a sort of warning system, but it still made her shudder.

Yet another day passed, and people were finally getting ready for the rescue mission. They'd learned where the captives had been taken, and the defences of the place, etc. They were going to free them all.

My characters began to get ready - Lauren in the least helpful way possible, Christian trying not to show how worried he really was about this, and Dani, just focusing on Lily, on how she had to do everything to get as many people back as possible. Or there wasn't any point she was so much more powerful
