Jamestown, echoed Asher. For a single second, there was no humour his words, the bitter memories rushing over him. Then it was gone. Gotta love going back to the Alma Mater.

Lou didn't laugh. Maybe she had never spent a lot of time in that prison, but it held enough awful memories for her. When?

(Is that also the one Owain died raiding? )

We don't know exactly when, but soon, she replied. It depends how many others we can get to join.

Asher thought about suggesting Cole and Delly, but decided not to when he noted Lou didn't bring them up. He'd almost forgotten they weren't who they used to be - or would be. God, timelines are confusing.

Caryn asked if there was anyone they could think of to suggest to approach for help too, though she expected there wasn't, since they weren't volunteering any names.

Lou toyed with the idea of asking Owain - he was a capable fighter now, he could hold his own. Plus.. Owain'd probably help.

Why the raid? asked Asher. To his credit, he didn't seem remotely perturbed by the mention of Owain. It was sensible to ask him, he was a good fighter.

(Does he only show jealousy when they're alone/with Owain there? )

She hesitated, trying to work out how to answer.

They captured past me, and Jake asked our help to free her... plus there'd be more kept there too, and I'm thinking the faster we strike against them, the more hope we have of changing things...

It's when I was first captured, she answered. She thought they knew how she'd escaped and been recaptured a few times - it'd been during her second or third imprisonment that she'd met Asher.

Oh, of course, he replied. I'm sorry, this time travel thing is really messing with my head.

I wasn't sure if you'd remember, anyway, she smiled. Not like you were there, that time.

(Can you think of anyone else, apart from Owain, she should still ask?)

(Not really; they're trying to let Delly & Cole live out their lives so they're out and I think that's it for mine?)

Yeah, I bet you spent the whole time thinking "If only I had a charming and handsome man in the cell next door who would provide nonstop laughter". Asher smiled.

Lou was as silence as she normally was during any mention of Asher's imprisonment, she couldn't stand the topic and the guilt that accompanied the memories. I'll go, she said, in answer to Caryn. I mean, a second super hot chick from the future showing up at his door, he'd freak.

Oh, who the first? commented Asher who gained a laugh from Lou for his efforts.

Lou nodded. I'll go sometime, she promised. You said the raid'd be a couple weeks?

In a few weeks, she agreed. I'll find you again when it's time, if that's ok?
