World 12: Spies - RP Thread

Georde did so, and after a while he was hit by a scent. It was weak, probably because it had been a while since the person that the smell came from had been here. It smelled of expensive perfume and something else that George couldn't put his finger on. But just as eh was about to tell the others, Neil seemed to have found something.

"Hey guys, over here." Neil said while grabbing something under a chest of drawers. When he pulled out his arm, he held something in his hand. It was a buisness card with contact info on it.

"Yeah, I did. A scent of a perfume, it smells fancy, like perfume from a really expensive bottle." George took another sniff, almost like if he were an animal, looking for a trail. "And then there is a smell that I just can't put my finger on." George said, dissapointed in not being able to identify the smell.

George continued to smell his surroundings and then he figured out what it was. His brother had bought him a bottle of one of the same brand a few years back. "Giorgio Armani." George continued sniffing, trying to identify the second smell. He soon realized that it was the distant mixture of the melted body that made it hard to distinguish the second one.

(Does that mean the second smell is the body, or the body smell is covering the second smell?)

(The body smell is covering the second smell. )

George nodded deteremined, focused on the smell of the melted body and imagined how the smell slowly dissapeared, removing the obstacle so that the second smell would distinguish itself enough for him to identify it. After a couple of seconds, the smell became clear to him. It was an earthy, resinous smell. George thought of the senator's place surroundings and remembered that a forest that matched the smell, and the only one in the proximity that was big enough to give of such a deep smell.

He told this to the others.

"Either someone lives close enough to the senator to walk through the forest to get here, or he parked somewhere near the forest to get here. Either way, we should find more clues in the forest."

(Didn't Neil already pick up a buisness card? Or is it another one? A different one? )

George started moving and Neil finsihed checking the area before heading to the cars as well.

(I forgot about that Make it a different card with a different address)

Tyler followed the other 2 out to the car and Liam was the last to exit. He nodded to the policemen, who were still guarding the doors, as they passed them.

We'll go to the forest first and then split up to check out the addresses on both cards.

(Sure.)

George and Neil sat down in the car. Neil prepared himself for Tyler's driving.

Neil agreed with Liam in whispers, sending a glance to Tyler which contained that teasing look he had an habit of giving him.

George and Neil made their way in to the forest.

George didn't realize he had been tense until he finally relaxed after seeing the footprints. When his ability hadn't worked as smoothly as usual, he had been worried that he would be wrong. Instead he was glad he had been right.

They followed the footprints.

The silence made their steps almost echo in the forest. The footprints just seemed to go on indefinetely. They continued walking in silence.

Neil asked the question that was on everyone's mind. "Where did the footsteps go?" The only explanation was an ability or such a good tracker that he, or she, could eliminate all trails. Neil looked at George who had crouched down beside the last steps.

"The person must have used an ability to dissapear."

"So, what's next? George asked the others.

Neil looked at his buisness card he had found and asked if they should go check the two adresses, one on the buisness card he found, the other on the one Tyler had found.

"I found this." George said, lifting a hair from ground. "Now I will be able to tell you when we get the right guy." He studied the hair in detail.
