Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
Hy was early for work as normal, arriving before most of the other agents. She settled into her small cubical and looked at the folders on her desk. She flipped open the top one and sighed. It had been years now, since she had first been put on the Sylar case, and she was still no closer to catching him. She found out he had attacked a young man in his home in Kansas City. Reading Kyle Trudeau's bio informed Hy that he had gained yet more abilities. She loaded up her computer and opened the Sylar file, adding the abilities of Astrakinesis, Temporal Statis and Sublimation to his report, cursing as she did so.

She also added Kansas City to confirmed sightings, but it didn't help any. The death had been noted as 10:37 last night - he had hours to have left. Hell, he could be halfway around the world by now. As she read through the file thoroughly, she came across a paragraph right at the end - the man had had the customary heart symbol carved into his chest, like all of the other victims since Hy's first and only meeting with the criminal.
It had been only a few weeks after she had been given the case and back when she still thought she had a chance of catching him. She had tried to tell him what a heartless murderer he was.. and now he carved a heart into the chest of his victims - for her. To show that even if it didn't beat anymore, his victims still had heart. On all of the double murders, he had been known to switch the hearts as well. For a psycho obsessed with brains, he sure had a thing for hearts

Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
Sylar's next morning was spent in his old apartment in New York. Although the Organisation thought they had the place completely wired, he often used it as a home, simply to show them how good he was. He took a long time getting ready in the morning, turning the oven on to cook bacon and eggs before he purposefully set off the sensors. A red alert flashed up on Hy's computer and within seconds she had assembled her team, teleporting to the apartment. Obviously, they were too late.
By the time they arrived, the smell of bacon and eggs was too strong. A quick glance around also revealed a clearly recently-slept in bed and wet shower towels. She cursed blindly whilst instructing the security be improved on this and all other confirmed locations from his pre-Sylar life, including his mother's house. She also informed the Org of another sighting - this one was recorded by the "hidden" security camera that's footage included him wandering around in a towel, him put the bacon on and him smiling goodbye before he disappeared.

Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
Sylar did not waste time - once he was out of the apartment, he appeared in a lazily small town in Oklahoma. The sun had risen a few hours ago and was by now quite high in the sky. As he walked by the upper class family homes, he saw people eating their toast and cereal, sipping on orange juice whilst enjoying their easy lives. He did not even bother to envy them as he strolled down to 1540, Carnoll Avenue. He stopped outside for a second, just long enough to check the address one final time with the files he had stolen from the Org - what, months ago, now?
There was only a twenty minute time gap between him entering the house and him strolling out. He admired his hands as he turned them to water and back, wiping all of the blood off them in seconds. Once they were clean, he began walking down the road and pulled out the cell phone from his back pocket, that he had taken from his victim. Sylar punched the numbers in the phone and Hy picked up on the second ring. You might to get down here, I think I've been murdered, he said, before tossing the phone in the garden of the house he had just left and disappeared into thin air

Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
Hy was already shouting and swearing before they even left the building - she knew what she would find. A dead body with the top of its head removed and no trace of who had done it, no way to track him, to predict his moves.. in most ways, that would be conceived as no hope. They did the usual - they marked down the location, they checked the powers he had gained and added them to his file, they roped off the crime scene and searched for any solid prediction of his future.
No matter how many precogs she asked, Hy always got the same answer. Zilch. They had nothing. Of course, they had no confirmed reports that Sylar had killed someone to get Precognitive Immunity, but it would fill in the gaps for a few of the kills with unconfirmed powers. There had been one close call nearly a year ago - back before he became completely untraceable.. She had saved one life; something she knew was a win. But there were countless more lives that she had failed to save. Sometimes, like the killing a few days ago, they got there in time just to save the life, but more times than not, he wouldn't notify them until it was too late.

Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
Seeing her mother slowly lose her faith and ability to pretend everything was fine was hurting Abbie. She watched painfully for days until Noah finally asked her what was wrong. She explained that she had been trying to teleport to dad - to summon him back, to get them all back, but nothing seemed to work. Whenever she did, she just returned to their home. Noah was equally as worried, but his powers weren't helping either. He couldn't sense them, couldn't find them, couldn't help them

Re: Heroes RP World 2 - Reflections
In amidst of trying every teleportation power they possessed, Abbie opened a portal. It didn't disappear or falter straight away, a good sign. Immediately, Abbie stepped into it and Noah tentatively followed when his sister didn't show any sign of immediately returning. They looked around at the place they had arrived - it was recognisable as their family home, but it was.. different. The decor was no longer modern, but old fashioned, with floor length curtains on every window and giant paintings. The television wasn't here - the carpet was different, the walls were different.. everything - different.
Where are we? This isn't our house - is it? [i]asked Noah, worriedly. He wasn't afraid, but confused - this was their house.. so why didn't it look like their house?
Abbie walked over to one of the tables and picked up one of the photographs. It contained a picture of two blonde women with their arms around each other, standing in front of the house proudly. Standing between them was a small black girl. This isn't our house.
