Once again George took action. He didn't seem to be able to affect the man for some reason, but slowly, one after another, the walls and doors seemed to slowly fade away. Leaving less and less room for the man to phase into.
But George seemed to become exhausted by the task and started to shakily grab Liam for support.
Neil kept lookout for the man to appear so that they could hunt him down.

Liam caught George as he fumbled, looking concerned and confused too. What was going on? He didn't know anything of George's ability to guess that overuse could have an effect like this. Was it an attack? Why was it only affecting George?
Seconds later, Tyler caught a glimpse of their target. He was blurring out through one of the remaining doors. He threw a shockwave at him before he could escape again.

George managed to regain his strength.
The man was hit and hurt by the shockwave. Neil was quick to shoot webs that entangled his legs and arms to trap him even further and maybe preventing him from using what other abilities the man may have. They all headed towards the man.

Tyler approached first, dermal forcefield ready. The man was still conscious despite being hit by the shockwave, and he was ready for a retaliatory attack. The man was barely moving though. It seemed he'd been too stunned to try phasing away again, at least temporarily.

Neil was the one who got to the man first. The man threw kicks and punches like someone who had been trained. Like a professional. Every punch and kick Neil countered was quickly followed by another one. An intimidating thought seeing how he was damaged. Neil didn't want to think how dangerous he would be at full capacity. Neil barely had time to counter with his own moves between the man's attacks so he was having a hard time keeping up but he wasn't scared seeing how he had his entire team backing him up.

This time, Tyler couldn't utilise his shockwaves again: Neil was too close and he didn't want to risk accidentally hitting him. He joined into the fight, as did Liam. But even with three against one, their opponent's fighting skills - which had to be due to another ability - almost overwhelmed their numerical advantage.

George tried one more time to use his ability on the man, but something was ironically blocking him.
George jumped into the fight as well, trying to surprise the man. By joining, it seemed like the four of them had an advantage, but then the man hit Neil hard with a kick that knocked him to the floor.

Seeing Neil hit, Tyler groaned inwardly. His potential plan, apart from George creating an obstacle for the man, was for Neil to possibly persuade him to yield. Now it looked like that could be out of it. He didn't let the disappointment show though, keeping his composure, and continued to fight.
