Another day had passed by now, and Craig had spent most of it locked up in his room, focusing intently while he tried to freeze time himself or teleport somewhere. His face was so scrunched up with concentration that it looked like he was having a fit, but nothing else was happening. He couldn't do anything. Frustrated, he just kept trying harder and harder, thinking he just wasn't pushing it hard enough.

Clutching his hand tightly, and grinning, she sprinted back to NYC. She stopped at the house, and rang the doorbell. Just as her aunt opened the door, Rhi raced excitedly over and hugged both of her parents.

Tara only worked half a day, leaving early for a date with Sean. Before she had left, George had pulled her aside, and tried to innocently ask how it was going with him. Tara had only smiled, and replied that things were going great, not understanding what pain she was causing him as she left happily, skipping across the road and climbing into Sean's car.
Hours later, George still sat in the same booth, at the back. His friends had tried indiviudally talking to him, but he claimed to be fine until they left him alone. He sat up straight when he heard the clanking of heels, wondering eagerly if she was back. However, walking up to his booth was a tall girl with dark wavy hair, a strange expression on her face.

He raised his head, hearing a knock on the door.
Come in, he called out, his tone still despondent. His brother did so, and moved to sit beside him on the bed.
Still trying to do that stuff? Adam asked, and Craig nodded.

The giant grin that burst from Danny's lips was entirely subconcious, as he scooped his little daughter into his arms, and held her tightly

She giggled, hugging him more tightly, as Elan just grinned watching them. Luckily, she'd already telepathed her aunt into not finding it strange that she'd have a 3 year old daughter, or an effective husband.

You sure? Let me buy you a drink, she offered, nodding towards the counter, where Misha was leaning, watching the two of them.
I work here, he said, sighing as Misha approached.
Then you should be buying me the drink, she said, keeping her cheerful tone as she turned to face Misha. Hi, I'll have a soda lime, and.. well.. get him whatever he normally has.
Misha smirked, and nodded. Non-alcoholic beer and a sodalime coming right up, she said, before turning on her heel and walking away.

Craig chuckled briefly, then turned to do exactly that. Adam watched in amazement. He'd been joking..... but maybe he should just let his little brother do this. Yeah, he would. Grinning, he left the room and left him to it.

James was silent then, focusing intently, trying to interpret the blurred veils he could see around his son and work out what abilities they symbolised.
I think I've got it..... one's a precog one - seeing the future. That's the clearest. It's.... Divining? Not sure what that is though....
