Ah next order of business: Abilites. I think only normal people can have an ability. Dragons/magicians/elves have their own powers. Though humanoid creatures should too like dwarfs etc but only as long as they don't have anything else. Having magic and an ability is too much in my opinion.

Next order of business, background info. OK, if I were to say to you that I wanted to be a Rider Dragon from Eragon you would have no idea what a rider dragon is. So I propose in the profile to have a 'brief background knowledge' section where I could briefly describe what rider dragons are.

Another order of business that I have just thought of is if I wanted to be a Rider Dragon I would need to be in Alagaesia (or however you spell it) so I think that it should all be in modern times in this world and if I still wanted to be a Rider Dragon I would have to come up with a reason why I am a Rider Dragon here eg powerful magicians came together here to make them into Rider Dragons to protect a powerful stone or something like that. So basically everything set in here and now with no mythical lands. Or do you want to create an entire world for this to be set in and not anything here. We could also have all our countries here just some extra ones attached on like a new country attached to China or something like that?

i prefer a completely new world but we'll see what everyone else thinks

Completely new world? That then throws up other things. For example then could we have Middle and Alagaesia and Camelot all different countries of this completely different world or no countries within books/films/tv and a completely from scratch world.

For Ability with an already magical species, could you choose an area of their magic they're especially skilled with? That's what I basically did with Nam in the old W6.

I'd say, go with our normal world, but with certain magical areas which normal humans aren't usually aware of.

And most importantly, what core SL is there?

In the other world, we first introduced our chars, and then the normal humans started hunting us down and killing us. It turned into a war. Or we could have the usual good v evil which is usual for fantasy mythology, maybe some evil villain lord trying to take over and us fighting him? Or a few and we're caught in the crossfire?

I want to try and distance this one a bit from the old one because it didn't work out and it was shut down. I think we could wait a while for the chars to be established then have an evil lord trying to take over everywhere. We would need someone to rp as the evil lord and preferably a second evil lord as their ally and friend helping each other to take over the world just so someone isn't rping on their own a lot.

I'd have the evil lord as an open character, since they'd be so powerful and influencial.
