Would we limit the kind of species you could be, at all? That's what we did before, but maybe it'd be better otherwise. Maybe PM you over a particularly powerful species? Or have a thread in the world where each species gets explained?

The idea at the core of this was to be anything you wanted. Be it from a TV show or your own imagination. I would be reading over the profiles but any really powerful creatures would be a good idea to PM me about.

OK, it has been discovered there are many things that need to be decided upon before we do anything in W9. I will list a number of suggestion and I would be pleased to hear you views on them. If you agree say ‘yes’ if you don’t say ‘no’ under the suggestion.

Abilities. I think only normal people can have an ability. Dragons/magicians/elves have their own powers. Though humanoid creatures should too like dwarfs etc but only as long as they don't have anything else. Having magic and an ability is too much in my opinion. With an already magical species, you choose an area of their magic they're especially skilled with for example water dragons have magical powers over water and ice.

Background info. OK, if I were to say to you that I wanted to be a Rider Dragon from Eragon the chances are you would have no idea what a Rider dragon is. So I propose in the profile to have a 'brief background knowledge' section where I could briefly describe what rider dragons are and things like that.

If I wanted to be a Rider Dragon I would need to be in Alagaesia (or however you spell it) however this throws up many obv problems with the all the other chars. So I wish to set a time period and world. Choose from these suggestions:

1. In this world with only these countries.
2. Create an entire world for this to be set in from scratch
3. Have all our countries here with just some extra ones attached on. For example, a new country attached to China or something like that
4. Have Middle Earth and Alagaesia and Camelot as different countries of this completely different world. For example having Camelot and Middle Earth as next door neighbours
5. Have our normal world, but with certain magical areas which normal humans aren't usually aware of.

And a time scale:
1. Modern times
2. Middle ages


If a world is chosen that doesn’t contain Alagaesia and if you still wanted to be a Rider Dragon you would have to come up with a reason why you are a Rider Dragon here eg powerful magicians came together here to make them into Rider Dragons to protect a powerful stone or something like that.

We could wait a while for the chars to be established then have an evil lord trying to take over everywhere. The evil Lord would be an open char.

So we can have kingdoms from books and stuff and we also can have kingdoms of our own creation. Any other points you would like to make?

But the idea was everything, then it wouldn't be a crossover, it would just be mythical. The idea was you can be ANYTHING AT ALL and restricting it would mean it would lose some of its appeal to me personally.
