Braedon shrugged. as Cassidy's eyes were still darting from one of him to the other. The original began to walk off, and Cassidy was torn for a second, then followed him. The two walked to the end of the street and then turned left into a bar. Braedon offered a smile to the bartender who greeted him by name as he straddled one of the bar stools. Cassidy took the one next to him and sat in awkward silence as he began chatting away to the blonde. Date? she inquired with a nod in the direction of Cassie.
He chortled a little Try my brother's girlfriend. This is Cas. Cas, this is Juliet. Both exchanged pleasentries, Cassidy commenting again that he should stop calling her Cas.
Can't be Zach, surely? laughed Juliet giving Cassidy another look over. Sure, she was pretty enough - it the idea of Zach having a girlfriend that baffled her. Juliet had already gotten Braedon his Heineken and then looked at Cassidy What do you want to drink, hun? she asked as Braedon laughed her assumption
Water, said Cassidy, frowning at Braedon's drinking in the middle of the day - he would drinking them home as well.
Another brother, said Braedon, finally.
The conversation continued and Cassidy noted this girl was nice. She also pitied her for liking Braedon, as she so evidently did - that or she really did just spend all her time leaning forward and showing off her cleavage by coincidence. After twenty minutes, Braedon's phone rang to say the car was fixed and he finished his drink, thanking Juliet and leaving a generous tip before leaving. He dropped Cassidy offer at the house and then went back to his place.
