World 9 - Mythical Crossover

Luke glided through the air. He felt the air rush through his wings and he relished in it. Today it was good to be alive. However, today was also a Blood day and idle travellers needed to be warned. He flew from road to road, stopping and informing all who he came across to go and hide themselves away and most importantly, if they had magic, not to use it at this particular time.

He spotted two fiigures moving down the road at an idle pace. Long cloaks on and travel packs on thieir back. More passers through. Luke tilted his wings and within moments was standing on the road in front of what looked like a newly wed human couple off to find themselves somewhere to set their lives up. The woman stared in terror at him.

I wouldn't suggest going on much further. The woman gave out a little squeak and hid behind her new husband. He smirked, why would anyone be afraid of him?

Excuse me, why not Sir? the man answered in a very level tone. The woman looked at him as if he were insane. Luke liked him.
The Blood are on the prowl today. he replyed simply. When the man looked confused he continued, The Blood are Soloden's, a city not far from here, indiscriminate monsters. No one actually knows what creatures they really are, no one survives an encounter with them long enough to take a good look. King Venson sends them out to find whatever threat he has detected. Anyone who gets in their way is ripped to shreads. And anyone who uses magic only draws attention to themselves. They seem to have an innate ability to feel magic being used across vast distances, even simple spells. Most likely this threat is using magic to conceal themselves, which ironically will be their downfall.
Oh, the man and woman stared at him.
If you hide yourselves away you should be fine though. Luke outstreched his wings, Well, it was nice meeting you two but I must go and warn other travellers.

And so it was with a flutter of his wings that he glided off to warn others. He warned seventeen more people that day.

(Dern's a random servant. Yeah, yoi can forget his name, I already did And Luke's my new char, a nice one to balance out all the bad ones )

(And technically this Blood shouldn't sense the assassins, because all the spells to make them undetectable have already been cast, in Oherin.)

(I always seem to make mistakes when it comes to magic...well that's only the theory so then they wouls slip past The Blood, right?)

(I guess that's predictable, when we're all using slightly different magics And yeah. Their shadowy unnoticeability would make that happen)

Vension stirred. WHAT THE HELL?HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? A small servant shuffled towards him and tentaviley asked, What is it, Sire?

Vension ignored him, his visions had never been wrong before, how were those swine inside Soloden now? It wasn't possible, he was a seer, never in history had the vision of a seer been wrong.

The vision he had had only moments ago was still as clear and it was then. They were here now. For him.

Secure the castle as best you can, tell the men we have magical intruders, alert our own magicians and whatever you do BARRICADE THIS ROOM AND PROTECT ME YOUR KING!

(As the computer decided to delete the paragraph or so I'd just written I'll be brief)

One of the magical castle guards noticed something, he called out and so now about 80 sorcerers are heading your way with more patrolling the rest of the grounds.

(Is it one of them he's noticed? How?)

(I left it up to you, he could either be an idiot or an amazing sorcerer Maybe I should have made that clear.... )

The others arrived faster than they had in any drill. the man who'd noticed them described how he felt as if they were near but not here. As if they were inside the walls. But it was only a feeling, albeit a strong one. Instantely, have of them set up a maigcal perimeter. Nothing could get in or out now. Others were trying to get a similar feeling while all the other began a spell called 'Retupitu'. A spell of revealation.

Luke did a spiral loop-de-loop in the air. He was bored now. He had to stay up here until The Blood were recalled to protect himself but....there's nothing but clouds in the sky. And when you've been flying much of your life, it lost it's appeal after a while.

He licked the air with his tongue. Just as he'd thought, maigical blood would be spilt tonight. The world was already mourning it's loss.

Despite all the magical guards effort, all the assassins had passed through. Vension could feel it. He looked around the throne room. All the windows were filled in and all the walls were covered with dertn, quick hardening physical resistant barrier. It acted as it's own magical shield only it didn't need to be sustained with energy. Close behind that was a powerful magical shiled created and sustained by his personal guard of 30 of Soloden most powerful sorcerers. And invisible layers upon layers of all kinds of protective spells. No, no one could get in here Vension whispered under the flicker of candle light.

(Does the door/doors have this physical barrier too, or just magical ones?)
